Remember our blog ‘Defining Brand’ from our ‘Defining’ blog series? Well, we’re back and this time we want to discuss marketing.
In this blog, we’ll cover the top 3 questions we get asked about our experience as marketers.
So without further ado,
What do we mean by the word ‘marketing’?
The dictionary definition is:
the action or business of promoting and selling products or services, including market research and advertising.
Depending on your brand, you will market differently. For example, Costa will market their products to consumers to make money whereas an actor or influencer will market their personality to stay in the limelight.
How often do I need to be marketing my brand?
All. The. Time.
If you’re not promoting yourself, then no one will remember you. The basis of marketing is getting your name out there and becoming recognisable by pushing your products or services into the public eye.
Do I need a marketing plan?
Essentially yes. Like anything you need a plan and goals, it’s the only way to succeed. A plan will help you understand what you are trying to market, who you want to market to and what results you are expecting.
These plans can evolve as your brand do but realistically you’ll always have a similar goal – to convert.
What ways can I market my brand?
We are in the prime era for marketing and that’s all thanks to the wonderful technology that’s so easily accessible.
Now, of course, we still have traditional forms such as print, radio, and PR. There’s also common ones like social media, email marketing, and TV. But now we have things such as AEO (answer engine optimisation) which marketing agencies like ourselves are very excited to explore with our clients.
It’s about choosing the best method for your business, one that will bring results not only in the form of conversions but brand awareness too.
At &create, we provide full marketing services such as our social media packages. So if you’re interested to find out more, contact us today on 07715 411159.
